Star Trek: The Neutral Zone is a relatively fun, single player or multi player (across LAN or the Internet (TCP/IP)) space shooter game.
When launching this game you are presented with a nicely designed GUI to choose what type of game you are wanting to play (network or single player). Once you have selected your game type you can now select the frag limit, which map you would like to use (there are 8 to choose from), and how many bots you would like to be included in the game.
The game itself is nothing outstanding. Graphics are simple and 2D and the only point in changing the map seems to be to simply change what the background looks like. I found single player a bit frustrating because the movement is difficult, it felt somewhat restricted although multilayer can prove to be a lot of fun amongst you and your friends despite the lack of movement control and speed.
Over all Star Trek: The Neutral Zone is fun, but not too fun. Will keep you occupied for a short while, give it a try.

It is a fun game and certainly something to play online. It's more of a casual game you'd play to kill some time rather than something you'll play often and join a clan in... but fun nonetheless. The only shame is I rarely find people online.
