A stunningly accurate remake of the Commodore 64 game
This is a remake of the old, old game B.C's Quest for Tires. It centralises around a main character - B.C. who is riding his wheel over a treacherous path in order to rescue his girlfriend Cute Chick. The story is based on the comic strip B.C. by Jonny Hart and that makes this game an instant classic in my book.
The main changes in the game from the original are the graphics (a much nicer, almost Ovine by Design feel to them) and the difficulty. Many parts of this game are very, very tricky. This is compounded by the fact there's only a save at the start of every level. If you make one mistake, at any point, you have to do the whole thing again.
The sound of the tire rolling can be an irritation, but the sound when his head is dropped is extremely amusing. In all, it's an equally good and bad game. There are no strong leanings either way. If there is, it's up to you to make the call.
