A fantastic game where the object, in several different surroundings, is to avoid the lava!
In one word, Peter Morphose is a fantastic game. It plays similar to Icy Tower except you’re a little person trying to get to the top of a particular setting. What makes it different to Icy Tower is the levels have objectives to complete and a goal to reach at the end, only you can’t dilly-dally because you’re because lava is filling the screen.
The graphics in this game are kinda cute, everything is in miniature and that makes it seem like, in some strange way, like a comic book. But even as it is quite small, details can be recognized and that makes the game filled with tiny little nuances all of them equally as exciting to discover as the others.
The game play is both thrilling and exhilarating, trying to get Peter to the high grounds is a very simple concept but it works, it’s so fun and challenging to get him as high as you can, all the while completing the mini-missions on the way up like rescuing damsels in distress and so on.
The music and sounds are so completely perfect for the game it’s hard – near impossible – to think of any other music that should be played in the background. Everything matches the visuals and it completes the entire game as a totally thrilling experience which shouldn’t be missed.
It rocks, it rocks, it rocks!
