Protect your base by shooting down enemy aircraft from your turret or simply shoot down slow moving blimps for fun.
Air Defence is a winning entrant of the game makers competition. It has pleasing graphics, a great soundtrack, good game play and it even has support for force feedback joysticks, a very cool feature for a freeware game.
The aim of the game is fairly simple; you are on the ground in your turret and your task is to shoot down the enemies flying over head. You can aim your gun using the mouse or your joystick.
While the game may be a little too fast paced for you or if you would just like to get a hang of the game and practice there is also a slow paced practice mode where you can shoot aircraft, slow moving zeppelins, hot air balloons, flying saucers or even paper planes.
I found this game to be quite entertaining, the practice mode is quite fun too. It could use some more levels but other than that it's pretty good.
