Break out is one of those things that should never change. Extending it into the third dimension was a really bad idea.
3D breakout is an absolute nightmare to play. You view the playing area from underneath the bat, which obscures your vision of the ball despite the bat’s transparency. It is very difficult to track exactly where in this 3 dimensional space the ball is.
Putting Breakout in 3D seriously destroys any fun that was there to be had in the original. Despite the fact that that this is a very well made game it is by no means entertaining.
